Keyboard doesn't work for Skyrim since yesterday, so I can't select any main menu items using it and after any save loaded can't move, open menu etc. None of the keys are working there.
I tried to delete local settings - no luck, then I reinstalled the game with and got the same result. I assume that is beacuse of the patch.

What tweaks I can use to make it working?

System: Windows 7 Pro 64 bit,
Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93GHz
4,00 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 220

do you have a gamepad plugged in? I have an x360 controller and when that's plugged in I can only use it and not the keyboard. Even in menus.

Nope, I don't have any. Do you know a property name from the settings file I can look at?

the line I have int skyrimprefs.ini (found in My Games/Skyrim) is:

bGamepadEnable=1

I use a gamepad, so you should set this to:

bGamepadEnable=0

if you want to use a keyboard... If you don't hav that line at all, it is the first line under the [main] section for me.

Have you tried deleting the two ini's and firing up the game to generate new ones if this doesn't work?

Well, after two days I figured out the reason . My firewall blocked keyboard access from the game after the patch and I didn't mention that.
