The first day the official Patch came out I cancelled it and put the "do not automatically update this game" on steam.

Now I want to apply the patch so I set the option "always keep this game up to date". But it won't download the patch, even if I reboot steam or reboot my pc.

I guess that if I reinstall skyrim it would patch it, but i don't want to install everything again. In short, my question is:


?How do I manually update skyrim to the lastest patch using steam?

Find TESV.exe and delete it.

Then verify the game integrity in steam, should download the 1.5 patch.

Better solution would be to try to launch the game first and see what it does. Less hair-pulling if something goes wrong or something else happens.
