graphical issues, glitches etc.

i recently got into skyrim once again after some time playing other games, all this because finding mods, long story short, i downloaded some mods and started from scratch.
right after completing the beginning of the game, and entereing the forrest/mountain, area after the initial cave, i get to the guardian stones and the waterfalls following the lake beneith,
when looking at these from semi close up, to close up, and even standing in the lake itself strange white lines glitches starts popping up and dissapearing again over and over, in a flicking way. changing from lines, to big white spots to even what seems the be an "extra" spray of the waterfall just 5m to far out

"update" the graphics glitch seems to occur everytime there is steam, dust or smoke with huge blotches of diffrent colours etc, lines and stuff like that. also at times the loading screen where the smoke should go becomes purple, pink green yellow covering part of the screen, furthermore the game at times severely drop fps and freeze for some seconds this being triggered by the glitches"

ive now tried reinstalling the game several times totally cleaning the, The Elder Scrolls folder, updating directx, updating my graphics card driver (which only resultet in getting the square glitch, this i already fixed though, now running on 12.1 version amd) ive also tried 2 diffrent "water" mods (realistic water) and (pure water) mod and no change (other than the water looking better ofcourse) also tried hd mods no diffrence
ive also tried every graphics setting there is to no awail
my rig is capable of running all current games on best graphics and have 2 ATI Radeon HD 5970 graphic cards

i am sincerely at my wits end here, i know for a certainty that this glitch was not present when i first startet playing

Maybe this is useless to say, but i have the same problemosss. (its a pitty)
Im still looking for a solution.
I also have some memory problems i think, after installing the high resolution texture pack the game often stucks in cities.
The game is useing only 75% of my total memory, every time the game stuck you can see in the ram indicator,that i use 73% 74% 75% 73% 74% 75% etc until i can play with good fps again.
I allready tried to tweak this.
i used
iMinMemoryPageSize=
iMaxMemoryPageSize=
iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=
i have putt this in the skyrim.ini
anyone have some suggestions? or is this even a good tweak ?

my system:
CPU: 3.2 GHz AMD phenom II overclocked to 3.6 GHz.
GPU: ATI radeon HD 5970
RAM: Geil 4 GB DDR3- 1333 Timing:Cl7 7-7-24

3 things to try first.....you have a massive page file in use..

Page File: 4393MB used, 20163MB available<<< 4+ GB tells me you must have a crap ton of background apps running....Try a clean boot to windows...Google that...

Also try using only one Video card...either pull one out or just disable Crossfire....(not sure if thats possible IM Nvidia...lol)

12.2 driver fail also...If you have those roll back to 12.1

Give those a try report back...

@ EXO planet X....yes you do have a memory issue...you have 4 GB so don't use the HD DLC.

What is your OS...32 bit?? if it is you you only get 3 GB..if the game gets 75 % of your ram ...whats Windows and everything else getting?

tried both, at the same time and both at diffrent times, nothing worked, no change what so ever in the glitches :( and i already tried to update my amd which made another issue so i rolled back to 12.1 and that issue disspeared but not these

Could be a Video memory problem not system RAM. With the high res texture pack I am using 1300mb of video memory. If it goes over my limit (1500mb) I will get slowdown and stuttering in cities, too. Try using something like MSI afterburner to check your video memory usage.
