The thieves guild was one of the first I joined, did all of the main story part of it. But what i liked is that after the main story you then have to do repeatable quests and the 'special assignments' afterwards (once you have done 5 jobs in a city). The guild itself then gains a new vendor for each city and you get new members, get the caravans working for you etc and eventually become the master.
Very nice i thought, very nice indeed..... takes a long time to do but you feel like you truly are developing the guild.
However..... companions, DB, and mages guild have nothing like this (unless there is something i am missing). For these three you do the guild story line and, well thats it..... Ok you can do repeat quests after this like you do in the thieves guild but you dont improve your guild in any way from doing so. I would liked to have seen the same development post-story for these other factions.
Just wondered what others thoughts on this were, or if i am missing some extra parts on these other guilds?
P.S. when I get the creation kit I will be looking at designing something like this
