I finished the companion's quest line to cure the leader of his lycanthropy.

The babe gives me a new misc quest to clear out Greenspring Hollows, the quest is named Animal Extermination.

The problem is that I already killed the saber cat very early on in my exploring.

The quest marker brings me to the general area of Greenspring, but no more sabre cat.

Is the quest bugged? Or do I have to wait a millennium for a respawned saber cat? (It really was one of my first kills out of Whiterun which was many many moons ago, so I'm thinking no respawn).

Is there away to mark this quest as completed? I'm on a PC ... and want to continue with the companion line so I can rid myself of my own lycanthropy and marry the babe .

I am stuck here as well ... I cannot recieve anymore work because I can't complete this quest.... Did you ever get it done?

That isn't how you cure yourself anyways IMO

you don't cure yourself from that quests,.. but it sounds like more of the same just another broken quest

it's hard to find out where your up to without spiolers or giving a little away,. has there been an attack yet?
or a funeral?
