This topic is mainly aimed at those Dragonborns that like to travel with a group (such as myself, being a mage character). Who do you have in your traveling party?

For myself:
- My regular follower.

(Essential)
- Avulstein Grey-Mane (leaves if Thorald dies)
- Brother Verulus (quite a capable Mage. I've seen him casting lightning and ice spells, and even conjured an undead warrior once)
- Thonnir (carries a torch in dark places)

(Non Essential)
- Vidrald (slowest in the group; looks like he wears standard armor and weapons)
- Geirlund (wields a warhammer, I think)
- Thorald Grey-Mane (is the only one able to keep pace with me, but only wields a sword and armor)

(Potential)
- Barbas (I'm well aware of this one, just haven't gotten it yet.
- Anska (I've heard that she's an awesome mage, but immediately after I recruited her, I left the cave and fast travelled to a nearby town. She immediately turned around and walked out. I've seen reports of people saying this happens, yet another person said they got her to follow them everywhere. Anyone have any insight on this one?)
- Mercer Fray (still need to do the Thieve's Guild questline)
- Delphine
- Esbern

(Rumors)
- One person said they had a pair of Orc brothers as followers. Anyone know who they are?
- Another person said they had a Silverblood follower while exploring the ruins beneath Markarth. Has this happened to anyone else?
- Sinding (while it would be cool to have a Werewolf follower, I don't think you can take him away from his quest. Even if you could, I don't really want to be stuck with a cursed ring).
- I know there are at least 2 followers related to Dark Brotherhood quests.

There are probably a number of quest related followers that I haven't found yet, but these are the majority of what I've found. Any other leads would be much appreciated!

EDIT: and just to clarify: You are able to have all these followers at the same time?

Yes, you can. I watched a video on Youtube with a player that had 10 followers, if I recall correctly (I think 2 were summons).

Yeah, the player invaded a dungeon with his mini-army, and it was complete chaos... which was drowned out by Lucien Lachance's babble...

Don't forget the dogs! The are a second regular companion.

Barbas is one of my followers and hes awsome , as long as you dont finish his quest hes with you and cant be killed and hes basically the best companion to have along, he keeps the higher lvl enemies occupied while you slay the others and then can go finish off the the main dude..although he really annoying with his barking and sometimes getting in your way, but his benifits out weigh his shortcomings, and he rips the dragur to pieces

I'm still debating on whether or not to get Barbas (constant pushing and blocking vs enemy takedown.)

Could someone add some info on where/how to get these guys?

how do you get more then 1 follower...everytime i try they say it looks like i already have company (or sonething like that)
