Alduin Bane

I have the dragon down on the ground.He won't die he just sits there looking all burnt up ?

Alduin still gas a icon on his head but he just sits there and I can't kill him?The other dragon is still flying overhead.

I get this glitch with dragons occasionally and once with a bandit. If you run away, wait an hour then come back they just drop dead, but you can't do that with Alduin so an earlier save might be the only option.

It's almost certainly a glith. You should probably reload a save if at all possible.

It's almost certainly a glith. You should probably reload a save if at all possible.
It's the first big glith that I have had.I guess I will have to load a earlier save.

So I started from a eariierl save.Alduin is on the ground,looks burnt.I spoke to the other dragon but the icon is still above Alduin and the other dragon is flying overhead.It says that I still have to defeat Alduin?I have.

You cannot kill Alduin at the Throat of the World. When good and properly licked he does a dialogue and runs away. Basically, sounds like you got a dialogue glitch. Possible cause: you are too far away. Did you try walking up to him?

Yes,I did.I went right up to him.He is on the groung with a icon over his head.I tried hitting him.I check my quest log and it says to kill Alduin .
