Hi soo i was playing like yesterday and i found a book Red Eagle's Legend i acidentaly readed it and the quests started BUT i had allready found the sword in my past adventures today i went there to try cleaning up the quest from my misc quests thingy and i searched the corpse of the dude that was with the sword he had 5 Red Eagle's Fury i was like "WTF?!" did anyone had the same or similar isue?

Something similar happened to me.. I read the book, did the quest, and accidentally read the book again and the quest popped up again. So I did the quest again.. turns out I only needed to put the red bane sword back in the stone (the stone before you fight the red eagle boss dude) then fight him.

Yep something like this happened to me. Oddly enough in conjunction with another bugged quest and i didn't link it to reading the book again. I'm not sure if I even did read the book a second time

I already did the red eagle quest and was trying to do repairing the phial (pt2). I had the briar heart i needed for the quest but it kept telling me i still needed to get one, after getting annoyed i switched the compass on for that quest to see where it told me to go for the briar heart. Followed the compass, killed the forsworn, took his heart, and he also had 2 red bane of fury swords on him so i took them as well. My compass marker was still pointing me to the dead foresworn with already removed heart which was when i realised that quest was screwed. But then I noticed the red eagle quest was back in my to do list. I ignored it for ages adamant that i'd already done it until eventually i just went back to get rid of the quest from my log. When I got there i realised which quest it was as I had left the sword in the stone first time round. I pulled the sword out put it back in and presto, quest complete.
