What's this Bucket Head nonsense? You can put buckets on peoples' heads? How? And what does it accomplish?

It's a glitch where if you drag a bucket atop an NPC's head, they cannot see you and you can kill them or steal from them. It has been patched.

you can put them over npc's heads this way you can steal from them with out getting caught.
