Any Tips for a Rouge Character?

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 6:54 am

I started a new character not too long ago and joined the thieves guild first thing. So far I've put most of my perks into archery, sneak, and one-handed.

For those of you with assassin characters, is there anything else I should be doing?

Thanks for the help

Find the first spelling trainer you can after the intro.

Also, make up your mind early if you want to enjoy an easier game on difficulties higher than adept : Bow or 1-handed. Don't use them both pointlessly. Prioritize one. Don't perk both until way late game when perks are to spare.

Carry Snowberries with you. You never know when your rouge might smear during battles or other activities.

My thief sneak is Archery, Alchemy, Sneak, Lockpicking, Light Armor, Smithing and Enchanting.

Archery- For damage, Really useful with sneaks' Deadly aim perk

Alchemy-To Create Poisons For my arrows , and various potions.

Sneak- To move around without being seen.

Lockpicking- Treasure Hunter/Golden Touch Perks.

Light armor- To withstand some damage.

Smithing- To create my own [censored].

Enchanting To enchant my own [censored] .

This guy, on the same level as OP.

I find rouge to be useful as warpaint also, helps with intimidation.

Also, people who bump their own topics after a few minutes :flamethrower: :obliviongate:

Me personally I would focus on Light armor as well as the 3 core main groups that the OP listed.

I thought my comment above was clever, but I bow before your epic pun-creation skills.

idk i suggest you lvl up the basic skills you want to a respectable level then try Theives or DB. They Both of good end rewards to help you get further. I Have archery at 90 but 1 hand at around 40 because once you get high snneak and the backstab perk ( X15) then you can do so much damage anyway.

I have a "side-character" like that and Im also gonna be using alchemy with him.

You have to be able to kill them first, so crafting poisons will be a big help and fit well with the character.

I'll be playing through the "stealth guilds" with him, but sometimes the best "rouges" don't join ANY factions.

In Oblivion, my out law wood elf never lost his bounty and never entered towns. All his gear was found or made and getting caught by the guards was game over. He was fun.
