No. If you want to play skyrim on a laptop, research laptops with dedicated graphics instead of onboard. That video card is good for office applications, not games.

Have a look: http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-HD-6620G.54675.0.html

and this is for medium~high on 720p... honestly you will be looking at $1000 or more for a laptop that can run skyrim for like $600 or so you could get a desktop that can run it better, assuming u have a monitor already.

You will never get as good a performance from a laptop as a desktop - at least not without paying much much more for it. Desktop rigs are far better for gaming, period. (I know from experience.)

I have an Asus *cough* *cough*. Laptops can play PC games perfectly fine, you just need to know what brand you're looking for. I purchased my G73JH model from BestBuy (don't give me that look, I know they're expensive) for a little over $1500. Sure it might be a little outdated (like 6 months or so) but it can play Skyrim on High with very little issues. Asus is a pretty good gaming laptop brand, and they don't have the annoying integrated video cards that can't run PC games for cr*p. If you want to find affordable gaming rigs (if laptops aren't your thing), I suggest looking on Fry's or Newegg.com . Desktop rigs may last longer since you can replace the video card and add RAM sticks when you need to, but laptops can last just as long, provided that you treat them well.

Buy a laptop from a company that makes gaming hardware...ASUS, MSI etc. if you expect it to really be any good for games.

To be frank, Dell doesn't make very good gaming laptops. Thoth might have more information on gaming brands other than Asus.

Personally I wouldn't buy a laptop for gaming but if I was "on the go" I might buy one capable of gaming to supplement my PC gaming time. If that were the case I would go with the MSI gaming laptop which is pretty pricey(more than a very strong PC). If that wasn't in the cards then ASUS brand and not just any but something that I know someone else has used to success for gaming. I am sure their are other options especially if you don't mind dropping tons of cash......I am just not "on the go" enough to even rationalize a cell phone let alone a laptop.
