Taste of Hircine's Hunting Grounds

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 11:20 am

This might be an obvious observation, but concerning the werewolf lore of Skyrim, when you die, you get to hunt in Hircine's hunting grounds for eternity. We basically have no idea how this will turn out to be (at least I don't).

So while doing Hircine's quest "Ill met by moonlight" I entered the Bloated man's grotto, it really feels like they tried to give us a little taste of what Hircine's Hunting Grounds will be like. I mean, you basically go there to either hunt a beast or to hunt experienced hunters.

Thoughts?

Is there going to be DLC with the hunting grounds or is it going to come with an expansion pack or is it already ingame O_o!?
I haven't heard any reference of being able to go there. It would be really cool though!

Nah, this grotto is in the game. I just thought they gave us a taste of how they thought the Hunting Rounds will be like in the developers minds.

Well personally I thought the grotto was pretty well done and did give me a feeling of a werewolf paradise :P I'm personally hoping that it will be in a DLC pack or an expansion pack since I have a thing for werewolves :3 ^_^

considering the "blood moon" can be seen in said grotto as well as some words you have and/or overhear from the hunters.. it does seem to be the hunting grounds, or at least abit of it.Nice touch , although way too short.

It was interesting to see the Bloodmoon again. Since it was just a legend in the Third Era and now even the hutners recognize it's importance. And how not all werewolves go to Solshtheim for a hunt.

But Hircine's Hunting Grounds has various geographical regions. Large, sparse forests and savannah and canyons and tributaries and bloody rivers. There is also a single moon instead of two and the sun is crimson colored. Not to mention werebears hunt during the day with nordic warriors while Hircine comes out at night with a pack of werewolves to join the werebears.
