Daedric > Dragonbone

By the time you reach those numbers, you've hit the armor cap anyway, at which point improved armor rating doesn't matter.

For a Heavy Armor user, spending the talent to get Dragonbone armor is a waste. You can easily hit the armor cap with Daedric armor, and there's no such thing as Dragonbone weapons, so there's no justifying taking the perk for that reason.
oh oh i see what you mean, but no i use light armour actually most of the time, but ive started training my heavy armour because im starting to play on expert mode and i originally intended to be sort of an assasin, but seeing as though its a lot harder than it seems i sort of ditched that idea after a while and go my one handed to 100 so now i usually run headfirst into combat which requires defense
point is i used to use light armour and smithing was the first thing i got to 100

For the most important reason of them all...the looks my good sir.
(I actually prefer Ebony the most - without the helm, that gap between briastplate and helm drives my poor brain crazy - but some people do prefer Dragonbone).

Pfft, if you're going for looks, just stick to Ancient Nordic Armor, and stack that up using tri-crafting. :P

Oh and a fun fact is even after you have 100 smithing, if you use a smithing augment you will be able to upgrade your weapons and armor even further regardless if you're at max lvl.

everyone at my school keeps saying that daedric is better than dragon bone
but ive got a set of ledgendary daedric and ledgendary dragone bone, but the dragonbone is 2 points stronger.
why does everyone keep saying daedric is better, when dragonbone is potentially the best?
Daedric is, but it's very rare to find Daedra Hearts, I mean, I've only come across like 6 on my lvl 56 char. whereas with Dragonbone you'll find the supplies plentifull compared to Daedric.

This is the main argument for taking Dragonbone over Daedric.

Also, for light armor users, I still recommend going up the heavy armor tree just so that you have the ability to forge Daedric weapons. Then take the Dragon armorsmith perk and craft yourself the best set of Light Armor in the game.

Just buy them from Enither at the mages guild - he usually says 2 at a time and the price ranges from 800 but now with 70-80 speech and 2 perks I can get them for 300.

Spoiler
That, and the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon will give you 4 every 30 days or so for free, once you complete the quest.

Isn't that only after you're level 50 or around there? Or if you have 80 speech?
Other than that it's only 1-2 traders.

Level 37, 68 speechcraft. I could buy one in Markarth in the Hag's Cure.
Found 3 in that game thus far from chests / dungeons and caves.

I've seen Arcadia in Whiterun selling daedra hearts while my character was well under lvl 10.

I am 70 hours into the game at lvl 36 and I already have 10+ Daedra hearts.
Most of them I just found lying around in places and stole them. I guess there is one in Jorrvaskr and a couple more in whiterun itself.
