What are you playing while you wait for the next patch

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 9:58 am

First off this is not a "omgz Skyrim is da sukz lolol" as I had very few problems with Skyrim
However when I saw how Patch 1.2 broke alot of things for people I used that as an excuse to play Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword. I didn't even bother to install the patch.

So what have others been doing/playing cause they don't wanna risk the patch or the patch actually broke their game

I'm still playing Skyrim, didn't really see much different from before patch and for the much hyped magic resist bug my character never had any to begin with so it's not a problem at all :P

Terraria 1.1 and Orcs Must Die.

I don't plan on playing much until the CK is out though. Not so interested in the next patch at this stage.

Rage for PS3 and Skyrim to a degree. My dragons don't land so cant unlock any shouts, just kinda doing random quests.

Skyrim. What's up with one backwards flying dragon. All the other dragons are fine and I'm not getting owned by the enemy because of broken resistance.

Not really playing anything. I keep running into post 1.2 broken stuff every time I play Skyrim and I'd rather not get into something else just yet, so just waiting to see if the next patch fixes things.

Skyrim. Patch 1.2 didn't do anything to me in terms of errors.

Arkham City. An example of a very playable PC title that also has some huge tech problems. Game is unplayable in DX11 mode so still losing out on some visual quality, but the game is fantastic. Skyrim on the other hand; well I'm not touching that until Jan. when they begin patching up the questlines and most of the hardware crap is sorted out. I don't know who you [censored] think your fooling. There are literally pages of posts on this forum detailing hundreds of quest and engine FAILS on every platform! Yeah, I think it has a lot of potential... but to stick up for this mess is inane. I want to play through the game and enjoy it; not endlessly look up ways on the internet to fix or bypass this bug or that frakked up quest.

Heavily modded Oblivion. I haven't touched this game in a couple years. With many of the newer mods, it's really good.
