Weird Visual Errors

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 7:24 pm

So last night I was attacked by a giant bear - only this bear wasn't an animation, it was like a giant cardboard cut-out.

A couple of minutes later I came across a woman standing on a rock dressed in her underwear - without a head!

When I finally arrived at Windhelm it was to discover huge sections of the Palace of Kings missing, leaving torches & icicles hanging in mid-air & doors going nowhere. Also, much of the ground was missing, so that it was possible to see through to the terrain underneath. I've also had this problem with one of the buildings in Winterhold, down in the village.

Not saying that these errors are down to the latest patch - but I didn't see them before!! :ermm:

I have had the cardboard cutout issue before in another game. I think it was caused by AA settings but I would have to reinstall it again to find out. as for the other issues. are these areas located on elm street? because it sounds like a nightmare. haha! sigh your probably too young to have a clue what I just said. but I would go with the mod issue. lets recap. cutout bears, headless half nacked ladies, floating torches and icicles, doors to nowhere, and open pits to nowhere. I think i've seen this movie before. whatever you do dont feed the critters after midnight. as for help with the issue. uhhhh i just came to make a funny.

No, mostly graphics improvements. I've disabled any mods that I thought may be a problem.

No - mostly just graphics improvements. I've disabled any mods that I though might be causing trouble.

Oops - double post - thank you Google Chrome!!!

Yeah my game is completely broken after new patch. I see tiny black squares all over, I see right through a lot of terrain and weird grey-shades follow my ground-textures wherever I go.
Kind of hard to explain, but is there some way to fix this? I have not only deactivated all graphic-mods but every single other mod too!
At least there are no naked headless women..

Are you using Better Dynamic Snow? If so, there's a bug that causes some building's walls to disappear. The latest version of that mod fixes most of it.
