For those who join Stormcloaks. Spoilers

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 2:31 pm

I joine the imperials after joining the stormcloaks and then canning that save. My question is, when under the stormcloaks, after taking Windelm the non-nords complained of discrimination. When you take the other holds as a stormcloaks are all the non nords upset? And all the Ulfric supported Jarls end up in his castle after being ousted.... Where do te imperial supporting Jarls end up after their cities are sacked by stormcloaks???

Well the imperial ones go to solitude, they should be in the basemant of the Blue Palace. Each townsman/woman will have a different view on the imperials vs stormcloaks. In whiterun, Belethor couldnt care less since its business for him either way but another guy in town, an imperial supporter was upset by it. I think the Dark elves choose to live in windhelm for money reasons so as long as they make some cash and show their useful they are not bothered (an elf in the marketplace in windhelm explains this is her reason to you if you talk to her). Im not quite finished with the civil war yet, but have noticed very little in the way of population reaction.

There is some dialogue and the guards will change to Stormcloaks, but other than that, the impact is minimal. Oh and some of them have new jarls in place. Some shopkeepers do complain, like Arianne Avenicci says that she'd have been run out of there if she wasn't married to Uthgerd.

The imperial jarls are all in the basemant of the Blue Palace and they will give you an earful. lol The most bitter seems to be Balgruuf, who repeatedly makes threats against Ulfric's life, which makes me respect him for courage even though it doesn't seem like the healthiest course.

Yeah they are pretty bitter. I stumbled upon the lot of them and they had some words with me (some didnt even want to talk to me and made it known). I jsut said 'sorry my bad, good luck on your future endeavors' and walked slowly back out

Elisif seemed pretty upset with me, but then I saved solitude from Potema and we were the best of friends.

The reactions were little.

What upset me the most was that the string of quests were exactly the same no matter which side you chose. The location might change and the uniforms change, but that it. The exact same quests either way, well except for Whiterun which you are either defending or attacking (attacking is more fun).
