Who actually managed to find the stones to kill Parthuunax? Anyone?

I was stunned when Delphine actually expected me to do that. I was like, "[snip], please. He's helped me out a lot more than YOU have. So forget it."

I was just wondering if anyone had. I simply couldn't. Not a chance.

I haven't, but I have a vehemently anti-Thalmor character in mind who'll help re-establish the Blades, even if this means killing Paarthurnax.

Well, the fact is that the big P is dangerous. A case can be made that he should be removed. As a precaution.

Yes, at the end of the MQ he talks about converting dragons. And Odahving suggests that few will volunteer to subject themselves to the 'tyranny' of the Way of the Voice.
Frankly, he stands in danger of relapse. With dragons about, his solitary discipline is gone. He remarks that denying himself small hungers (conversation) helps him avoid the big hunger (bloodlust). The way he talks about spreading the word about hisway of the voice is that he will make them hear, even if they chose not to listen. Basically, his thought processes are not those of a civilized being, but of a born predator. He turned against Alduin not because he was cruel, but because he usurped his father's position as a god.

Don't get me wrong: it might be safe. Maybe.

I went the whole Way of the Voice. Delphine can go pound sand. I wish they gave you a "Go [censored] yourself" option, that's how I felt about it.
