*beep* *beep* *beep*
The detector is going off the charts!
*beep* *sproing* *clang*

Dang, you broke it.

On of the off chance my troll detector is malfunctioning. Which it can't be. I calibrated it myself! They're dead, Jim. They tried to become gods and were turned into neat little piles of ash.

Alternatively, they were removed because they're too complex. And all stuff I want that doesn't show up in the game is dumbing down for consoles.
Sorry about that, just recalibrating the meter.

They mysteriously disappeared. There are in game books on the subject. I however forgot the name of said books.

It's a question that is asked at a rate of about one new thread every two hours. And ends up with two or three people arguing back and forth for 10 pages. It's pretty good bait on these forums.

Well, there is one left. He's in Morrowind, or was, considering he survived the destruction of Vvardenfell. Yagrum Bagarn was his name, and he had some interesting dialogue concerning his race.

Even so, you don't have any proof that this individual is trolling.

Plus there's Google, teswikis AND a lore forum where he might have looked first.

I hope for DLC revealing this. It is a golden chance to finally finish what the Nerevarine started. It was probably their plan all along, with all the Dwemer ruins and all that.
I think it will be a DLC in Atmora too, when were onto it.

I started this thread in the correct place concerning the Dwemer. It should have your answers but they are a little complicated.

One of my favorite characters in Morrowind. <3333

there is potentially one stil alive in morrowind at the corpus hospital (a disease he has himself which grants the afflicted the ability to never die from old age).
the rest are as the first reply said gone and turned to ash.

There are a few theories....this is even one explained throughly in the lore (but i dont even really understand it)....here is the sumbed down version:

They were trying ot create a god, and in the process all the dwemer were destoryed or merged with the god they were trying to make....its very complicated.

One of the lore devs did up a report about the dwemer (a report that the player character was supposed to have made in Morrowind about the subject for a quest in the Mage Guild). It can be found here:
http://www.imperial-library.info/content/final-report-trebonius

Warning, it has alot of very deep lore and is quite long. It looks at all the possible outcomes and which is the msot likely. It is the best source for what happened to them.
