I'm missing the city markers for Markarth, Riften, and Whiterun. Only quests I've been doing recently before I noticed they were missing was the Thieves Guild quests. I noticed they were missing right after I unsubbed from a few mods on steam, so I'm thinking the mods corrupted my saves. When I go back to an old save or a different character I can see the markers for those three cities but not on my current character. Does anyone have a fix for this?

It's been about 4 hours so bump. Please I really need help with this ... any suggestions would be appreciated.

Disable all mods and verify your files and refresh your INI files.

Thanks I'll try that but what exactly do you mean by refresh my INI files? How do I do that ?

Go to (My )Documents/(My )Games/Skyrim
You'll either see Skyrim.ini and Skyrimprefs.ini or the two with the INI extension and labeled as Configuration Files. Delete them and load the game so they are regenerated to the default values.

Tried all that but it's still not showing up.... I'm thinking of just starting a new character or something.

Okay I'm gonna bump this thread because I don't want to start a new one for the same problem. It seems now that all my saves including new ones I create do not show certain city markers.... I could just continue playing and fast travel to something nearby and walk over but if the saves are corrupt who knows what other problems I may encounter. Now I can't even start a new character, does anyone know another fix for this?
