Patch 1.5 Shadow bug

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 2:54 pm

Skyrim is one of my favourite games. But since 1.5 I've been really frustrated I don't know if it's my computer although I got it as a gift and told it was built for games. Anyhow my problem is when ever I get on the game the shadows are very buggy when ever I move the shadows keep flickering and the people that I go past have this white blur that comes from them and it really ruins the game for me is there any idea how I can fix this or is this just the patch.

Not to mention, the NPCs and PC have always had a white "cut-out" around them quite a bit of the time.

I can't think of the proper layman's term for that, though.

If you think you have the CPU horsepower, then you can tweak the shadows. About half way down on this page are the ini tweaks

http://www.geforce.com/Optimize/Guides/five-fast-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-tweaks-guaranteed-to-make-your-game-look-even-better/

Note, this can cause your system to chug in the game if you go to far with this.
