. Then, I deleted all the .pex scripts because I made that fallible assumption that I could go on Steam and restore the scripts through, "Verify File Integrity Cache"; no scripts were restored.
If you think that was poor judgement in itself, I came up with a failed hypothesis that if I can restore the files through disc, (bought the game on launch day on a disc) I would get the original .pex files; I clicked on 'Reinstall', nothing different!I need to back up all the critical directories that are most prone to mod conflict, or any kind of issue that brings me to an impasse.
Yet another reinstallation that requires me to close other applications that rely on bandwidth in order to achieve the best download rate possible. This is the third time all because of cluelessness. Look, I'm not savvy when it comes to general programming or what not, but, it's not too late to educate myself on these issues. I want to compile scripts, but, an effectively compiled requires a moderate understanding of the C language, I think (please correct me if I have the wrong idea).
I should resort to backing up files in the original state, no matter what, but, I don't know which subdirectories to back.
I guess I overdid it with the description above, but, now I will ask my questions.
When the scripts directory had no .pex files, though, it had all psc files, I started the game, and was working with no problems; I was anticipating the game would crash to desktop because the .pex files seem like a guideline for the .psc files in the game's coding for how the scripts would initiate quests, NPC interaction, etc. I was thinking since the .psc files have none of their respective bulletins, it would not be able to initiate any player character action. I may very well be wrong and correct me by all means, but, after disposing of the .pex files, why did the game not crash or give an error message relating to missing files?
The mod that is being overriden is Dudestia's Multimarriage 0.9.3a; I will simply say there is a variable that is affecting the level of relationship with NPCs; to make it easier to answer my question, I will post my DLClist.txt file:

One of the plugins on the list brings me to closing questions:
To clarify, the mods that are related to the question are bold.
If I decided to borrow a weapon from the creator's Zelda - A Skyrim Modification, and overpowered it. Would I be violating the creator's intellectual property (not entirely since Nintendo is the original creator of this IP) if I decided to overpower the sword and make it an entirely different mod (when I modified it, I did not make zeldamod.esp the active file because that was my first experience) without consent of the creator? I know well that if you modify something like this and express desire to upload, you have to earn the author's consent and give primary credit to such. I thought that making a separate mod of an overpowered weapon from another mod could be made without the consent of the creator as long as a don't share it with anyone and keep it to myself and only upload after receiving the author's permission and giving primary credit to the author, as I said before. I have a feeling I might have committed a serious violation, unknowingly.
