nVidia beta drivers 301.24 ... Nice!

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 1:16 am

Just installed them and another clear boost in performance. My thanks to the guys at nVidia ...

The drivers build in FXAA is a nice feature as is the "adaptive" vsync option. That should get rid of a lot of the microstutter problems.

Initial testing shows a solid 15%+ increase in fps across the board, feels a lot smoother now.

Actually you shouldn't cry.....lol. Skyrim has an agreement with Nvidia as exclusivity. Some other games do have ATi exclusivity like DiRT 1 2 3, dues ex....but ati cards are cheaper than nvidia, but nvidia has best of both worlds awesome performance and the cards look good.

I will share a tear with you on this brother. AMD might have a lot of hpye but when it comes to deliverying for gamers nVidia has made clear who is the real gamer card. As soon as I can I am switching over.

There is already a thread discussing the Nvidia beta drivers http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1365428-nvidia-30124-beta-drivers-any-good-for-skyrim/. We don't need multiple threads discussing the same issue.
