Are there any UNIQUE sets of Heavy Armor?

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 5:12 pm

By "unique" I mean not Iron, Steel, etc.

Things like Daedric Artifacts for example: Spellbreaker, Dawnbreaker, Mehrune's Razor.

How they are THERE own unique "type" of weapon. I know there's the Nightingale Armor for Light... but is there a special unique Heavy Armor in the game? If so.. what is it called/where is it/etc.?

Well, I know there's the Wolf Armor that the Companions wear... although that's not completely unique, like the Nightingale. There's also the Ancient Nord Armor, though that's only semi-unique...

Although not a set... the Masque of Clavicus Vile and Ebony Mail are unique, and heavy armor...

ohhh, and Dragonplate armor, I believe.

I can think of individual items of heavy armor that are unique, but I don't believe there is a full set with unique art.

Does the Helm of Yngol have a unique model?

Yes. It's "steel" is actually darker then that of reg. Ancient Nord Armor as well..

@Armor of the Old Gods - NOT something like that. I'm not looking for a suit of Armor I know I can just get an enchant. Copy and paste essentially.

Something LIKE the Nightingale how THAT is the ONLY ONE of it's kind. IDK how to sum it up any clearer lol... :D

What's this Ebony Mail? Where the hell is that at? I've heard about it on the forums but thought they were just typos ^.^

You get Ebony Mail after completing Boethias quest(s) but that does mean sacrificing a companion.

Blades (set in the alduin's wall place, I think it's a little weaker than ebony), Falmar (I think is heavy), wolf armor (companions, better than ebony but worse than daedric/dragon), Ebony Mail (Daedric Quest, great for heavy armor stealth). Might have blades and wolf mixed up lol, but both are decent armors, but weaker than daedric/dragon.

That's what console commands are for. If it makes you feel guilty to set a cool, unique armour to Daedric stats, just forge some Daedric armor normally and throw it away to compensate.

Why do people already presume you play on PC if you don't tell them what you play on? ...

I'm on 360. AND PLEASE stop recommending Wolf/Daedric/Dragonbone/Falmer/etc. I've own them ALL except Falmer.

I want to know where RARE UNIQUE and one of a KIND Heavy Armor (like Ebony Mail for ex.)..

Thanks for all the help though... took me forever to remember where Boethiahs Shrine was and it's LITERALLY right around the [censored] corner from Windhelm (where I live..)

Feel so stupid.. thank god my 81 has 300+ locations discovered! :D

Sry for the double post but...

Does anyone know where I can find a "svcker" for Boethiah's Calling? Like a random dude who'll follow me? Not trying to sacrifice the Companions in any way..

Wasn't there a rogue you could hire from Riften? Or was it Whiterun? ... can't remember

There is a barrow on the east side of the throat of the world called Hillgrunds Tomb that has a potential follower. You need to complete the barrow and keep him alive to the end of the quest, but he's a freebee follower and its him I used for Boethia.

If I'm not wrong, you can bring one of those generic brotherhood minions after you become the listener. Those respawn.

I'm on 360. [snip]

Just so you know ... someone did a poll here at the Beth Forums asking "What platform do you play Skyrim on?" When I looked at it about three weeks ago, about 75% of the players who posted to the poll played Skyrim on a PC.

Also, interestingly, many players posted that they had both a PC and a Console copy of the game.

Kinda off topic, I know, but what do you mean, Wolf Armor isn't unique? There are only 3 other people in the whole world who wear it, and you're saying Nightingale Armor is unique, and 2 other people wear it? You do realize that even though it's in a shopkeeper's inventory, he doesn't sell it to just anybody, right?

Sorry, that just bugged me. Carry on.

Oh, and there's a mercenary in nearly every tavern/inn. I took Jenassa from Whiterun to sacrifice to Boethiah for my Ebony Mail.
