Today I just realized that equipping the ring of Hircine does not add the intended power. Before, I can use the ring and got extra beast form as intended. But that before I finished the quest to cure the two companion brothers. I checked the script of the ring and apparently there is a condition to check certain companion variable.

Could someone check the ring whether it is bugged after curing the two brothers? As I am sure that before the quest, I can get the power when I equipped the ring, as I checked using the older save. Or it is just me and some mods somehow conflict with the ring?

Are you sure that your character is still a werewolf? Maybe you cured yourself while doing the curing quests for the companions...

Hircine's ring only adds the power to transform if you are a werewolf, if you're not, then no power, it is a common ring - that's the only condition.

My character is still werewolf. The Beast Form power is still there and I still have the weaknesses of werewolf, such as no sleep bonus and so on.

What's the script of the ring? Is this?

Also, do you have this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=12687 or any other Werewolf mod? Because they change that script.

No, I don't use any werewolf mod. But I haven't tried to disable all the "major-changing" mods. As the game is very complex, some problem might arise when changing parts of the game.

I will try it soon.
