Has anyone completed it? I just became a member, but I'm starting to think that it'll be just a lot of "fetch this, fetch that" quests with no actual sense of accomplishment. Can anyone tell me if you actually get to be an actual bard or do you simply become their errand-boy while also being considered a bard? Can you actually play any instrument? Also, I'd like this to be the least spoilerific possible, if that's alright.

Same question here, did all the "main" quests then went and got all 3 instruments, now the 3 are stuck in my inventory even though the quests are complete, and i still have the "investigate the bards college" quest.

No, I did not complete it. I CAN'T complete it because it bugged. After a certain event, the headmaster is always using a lit torch whether day or night, eating or sleeping. My quest hint still says 'Investigate the Bard College' and the pointer always hovers over the headmaster when active, but he has nothing further to say. You might want to do the quests anyway because the reward is multiple skill ups. Really helpful when you are high level and more skill ups are needed to reach the next level.
