Shadows questions

Hello,

I'm new in this forum, and i'm french, so please be indulgent with my english
I've read all i can about skyrim's shadows here and on other wikis, but i can't have better shadows on the game than those : http://youtu.be/1seME6ygS5k
On this little video you can see how jaggy shadows are on max settings + flickering ( launcher + ini tweaks -4096, distance, blur...-), i simply can't have better whatever i do ( the worse is in interiors, in exteriors it was passable )
So i wonder is anybody have better that than what we can see on the video, or was a bug ( i've don't seen a recent game with so low res shadows! it can't be normal with recents game's engine... ), and nothing to do about, but waiting for a fix ?
Think it was really gamebreaking and distracting when playing, and i wonder how a game of such high marks in tests can have these low res shadows...
My game is 1.5 patched, i've an nvidia 570 and last drivers beta (301.24) -the same with older drivers-
Oh, and i've too the zfighting prb on mountains...
Only way to get rid of these horrors is to turn off shadows... and dynamic lights, and with that the game is really too dark ( and if you activate AO, you can see some strange glitchs with transparency and shadows that was hidden with dynamic lights on, so AO off ...)

It's no bug, it's the way Skyrim is working. THE biggest complaint all over the net is the fact that the shadows are just butt ugly.
Shadows in your video are not too bad to be honest. You could try to alter the iBlurDeferredShadowMask setting in SkyrimPrefs.ini. The higher you set that value, the more "blurred" the shadows get. I use a value of 12 there which provides me with not too dark shadows and the jaggedness has reduced somewhat. Other people use even 32 there but for me the shadow gets too weak then.

Thanks for the reply
I've tried some values for shadowdistanceinterior but very minimal impact in quality ( 1500-3000, with less than 1500 you can begin to see the limit in front of you )
I've also tried changing the shadow blur but not at this level, thought we can't get more than 7 in this value... i've tried 32 and hell it helps a little so thanks for the tip! it's not perfect but it's a workaround for now until an update i hope was coming for this problem.
If anyone got other tips would be cool to share!
