From left to right,
Spoiler
Lucien Lachance, Me :( , Cicero, dark brotherhood cook in the background

I'm playing the game using only found gear as a sneaky conjurer/marksman.

Companion is wearing Krosis, elven gloves of wielding, gilded elven armor of eminent health, elven boots of sneaking, blade of woe, glass bow, gauldur ammy and ring of wielding.

I'm wearing ancient shrouded cowl, savior's hide, ancient shrouded gloves and boots, necro ammy and conjuration ring.

Savior hide matches poorly with everything and shows off my pasty white thighs :(

It's probably just me but I dig the female Dark Brotherhood Initiates standard DB outfit. Yes, I know it's pretty much the same as the males, but the female sure does fill out those pants.

You could enchant forsword gear to get a lot of the bonuses the Dark Brotherhood set has (minus the gloves, I don't believe you can get the 2x multiplier anywhere, but +1H damage works well, just not for daggers). Least that way you'll match better.

I'm vain myself...I need to always look good.

You're an idiot for expecting the Savior's Hide to look good on any race other than Khajiit :P

I don't know if you're on the PC, but if you are there's a pretty great mod that makes the DB outfit look less ridiculous. Here is me wearing it:

I think that Lucien's robes look pretty stupid too. Why is he wearing Skyrim-style robes when his listener robes went all the way to the ground? Doesn't make sense.

I'm on pc, I'm not digging that look though and it will still clash with savior's hide, which clashes with everything...

I have tried forsworn stuff, it still doesn't match very well.

I guess you could try some of the scaled pieces, and a circlet for the headpiece? Or, IMO, a Chef's hat. I make my followers run around in Chef's Hats. They're adorable.

EDIT: Oh, and try the Stormcloak Officer's hands, feet, and helmet. Might look good with that.

The game is so easy on normal that you don't really need to focus on any particular gear.

Just smith up what looks good and go with it. When the enemies are so easy, all you have left is vanity.

It looked good on my Imperial named Kraven. And Ironically, he looked just like Kraven the Hunter.

I play on master with PISE mod.

I also found that the stormcloak officer boot, gloves and helmet actually works well with savior's hide.

The Forsworn stuff looks great with the Savior's Hide on female humans... I think the Savior's Hide looks excessively silly on male humans and both sixes of elves, no matter what you pair with it. Probably looks dumb on Argonians too, though I don't have an Argonian to try it on. Looks pretty good on a brownish Khajiit too.

That's funny because before I left for work I made a post asking if the Saviors Hide covered your thighs or not and I was just looking for my thread when I saw this.

Question answered. :(

what about wolf armor? mixed with saviors hide, i havent tried but sounds like it could work. Especially if there is a mod to lighten the brown on the wolf armor.

Savior's Hide is light armor, Wolf Armor is heavy (and doesn't look brown at all on my screen).

Having tried it, i can vouch that The Savior's Hide in a past ES game looked masculine but in Skyrim game it instead looks incredible on a female Nord Pc at least, even magically increasing her bust size and curves beyond what was already quite nice anyway, but it does little for a male character, but make them look like they are dressed feminine like in drag. Not sure why, but i noticed it before. Looks great (even sensual, sixy) on my female, but too fluffy feminine on a male character. I would save it to give to one of your female companions, (mercenary, follower or even wife) and get yourself something that suits u better. I think the elven armor looks a bit feminine on other races too, but any other type of armor looks great on any race or gender pretty much. Dragon armor comes in heavy (Dragonplate (very masculine looking on a male) or if u prefer light armor Dragonscale also conforms itself to whatever gender u are playing. Glass armor is Light and nice looking and if u can wear heavy, then Ebony looks great too. Deadric is wonderful if u can wear heavy armor also. But i would not throw away the savior's hide until u see it on a female, and u may certainly want her to have it once u see what i mean. LOL ;)

Yes. i know it looks awesome on a female nord as i tried that, and can be paired with 'Bracers of The Old God's and 'Boots of The Old Gods', if u do not want npcs' to think u are a foresworn by pairing it with theirs. I have not tried it on a Breton Female, but it may look good on her also, as it did on the female Nord, not positive yet tho.

get savior's hide away and go over to the black thieves guild master armor, it looks quite sweet even with dark brotherhood gloves and boots on. Nightingale boots are also a good option ;) maybe also get rid of that Alik'r scarf thing around your head and use the nightingale hood, you will look badass trust me :D
