Many of the followers in Skyrim are very bland in my opinion BUT there are a select few who are interesting to bring along on adventures and general shenanigans in Skyrim. One of the more noble followers and more interesting ones (Despite the fact that she repeats a lot of things) is Mjoll the Lioness, who is currently following me. I'm trying to find a character who isn't a mute pack mule but would suit a sneakier character. It would be much appreciated if you guys could give examples of any, sneaky or not sneaky, followers who comment on things during your adventures.

You want noise? Bring along Cicero and possibly an old, dear friend, the Spectral Assassin.

Thanks for the suggestions, I was expecting Cicero to be mentioned, but in my little role-playing universe my character, while a dirty thief doesn't dig that whole Black Sacrament business and what-not.

Erandur from Dawnstar is pretty talkative.

Marcurio from Riften says some dumb stuff, but he's a good sneaker and also blasts things to hell when attacked. So far he's been my mainstay.

He’s my personal favourite seems to have some dialog for every city I take him to and he doesn’t irritate me at all unlike other companions.
