I've been having this issue for a while, and now that I'm done with Mass Effect for a while, I thought I'd try to get some help before I jump back into Skyrim. After exiting the character creator at the execution site, my screen briefly flashes(to windowed mode, I think. I see Microsoft Blue at the top of the screen when it happens), and then Hadvar gives me the line about it being a bad time to return to my homeland no matter what race I pick. Then, when I am finally able to view my character in 3rd person perspective, my head is gone, as if I had changed my race.

I can get around this by downloading a save of the appropriate race that's been saved after character creation and just editing it from there, but that's a workaround, not a fix. I've done a clean install, deactivated all my mods... nothing helps. The one thing I haven't done is flat out delete all my mods because I think I'd rather just deal with the problem than do that. I'm running on Win7 64-bit. My PC is running with a 2500K Sandy Bridge and 2x 560TI in SLI(latest drivers) and on board sound(ASUS Maximus IV Extreme Rev 3.0). Here's my BOSS LOG:

Reorder these by hand using your favourite mod ordering utility.

Uninstall all your mods from Skyrim, then go into Steam and verify the game's cache to make sure nothing's corrupted and try again.

Even though the mods are disabled they install additional files that Skyrim will uses regardless of weather or not it's disabled, so make sure to fish out any additional files that got installed, it may be lengthly but it may work.

Or just reinstall lol.
