Enchanting - Maybe repoststupid question

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 4:01 am

I'm getting old, but not so old that my mind should be completely gone.... When I was first messing around with enchanting I know I could take an enchant and instead of enchanting an effect onto a piece of armor or weapon I could combine the enchant effect with another effect....
I can confirm I was not just dreaming this because in my list of enchantments I can use is one that is "Fort Destruction & Magick regen"
Now that I finally got my enchanting to 100 and got the dual enchant perk I tried using that enchant on a piece of armor and also another ...
and yes you end up with 3 stats on 1 piece of armor...

but now I can't remember how to combine enchants.
I could have sworn when I was first messing with it it was an option that appeared bottom left of screen in the X craft B exit A select

any help? I want to remember how to do this so that I can create the new dual enchant and then double stack them to end up with 4 enchant effects on each piece of armor.
was this a feature that was removed with one of the patches?

You dont do that thats the enchantment on robes. The only way to get others is to break down other robes.

Some robes have both the Fort Skill and Magicka Regen on them. When you break them down you get an enchanting option with both.

Are you 100% sure? I could have sworn that you could combine enchants? on my first character early in the game when you first discover enchanting at whiterun....

You can only combine after hours and hours of labor to get perks up to 100 in Enchanting. I finally did it.... amazing results.
