Basically ive given my Dark brotherhood assasin a blades sword. enchated it and smithed it to perfection and she uses if beautifully. The only problem is she has two which she could put to good use....but no. She would much rather use the 120 dam blades sword in one hand, and a rusty mining implement in the other.

I have tried to get this to work by removing the pickaxe, but then she only uses one weapon...idea for next patch maybe? Thank you.

did you try removing all her weapons and giving back the swords?

Anyway, I had a follower who wielded a Giants Club. That was great. He refused to use anything else.

Yeah i did that. took all her weapons, everything actually. Gave her the two blades swords again and she only uses one of them.

Sounds like a smart follower lol.

Anyway Anneke crag-jumper does this as well, she'll dual wield a sword and pickaxe, but not a sword and dagger, or sword and sword, or well anything. The only item she's happy to have in the offhand is her pickaxe for some unknown reason.

the same thing happened to me with Jenassa and it won't work. She randomly picks what she wants to use when she wants to use it. Its either a tiny glitch or companions are very picky about what they slice and dice with
