Ok so I go to solitude and use the console code to make someone be a follower and bring them to proudspire manor and i kill them in the basemant. After that it says I killed the last witness BUT WHEN I GO OUTSIDE....all the guards are firing arrows at me...

So then I brought the person all the way to broken oar grotto near solitude which is a cave. When I killed them in there and it said I killed the last witness, I went to solitude and was once again greeted by a barrage of arrows.

IS THIS OBLIVION?!

These hardware forums were not concieved to assuage console-murderers...
Yeesh.
You can kill hundreds and hundreds and HUNDREDS of people in the game - no console required!
So whatever you're trying to do, give it up.
