Well, it has been a while from the last patch, and we do not have any news of a new patch...

I don't know about you but I still don't play the game because of the bugs, so I am waiting for new patches to balance them.

When do you think the new patch will be released?

I hope it's not too much longer. There are a lot of pretty glaring bugs to be fixed in what is otherwise a masterpiece game.

I still wince every time I catch a glimpse of the glitched high-resolution burning logs or chopping block.

I hope grass shadows will be fixed and be togglable.
I also hope nirnroot glow bug will be fixed, and that the low sound issue will be fixed.
Finally, I hope z-fighting will be fixed but I seriously doubt it due to Bethesda's silentness despite hundreds if not thousands of complaints.

No offense to this mod author, but I'm not really interested in some home cooked hack that "fixes" one problem and does 58 other undisclosed or poorly detailed changes.

That's a terrible attitude to have. Don't go around assuming that kind of thing. If you're really curious you could always contact the dev..

Yep, I think that's most likely. Particularly if they're working on the engine to add new features to the DLC as suspected - adding underwater combat, adding new perk trees etc.

New patch = no profit.
DLC = profit.
Bottom line first, everything else later!
