A Follower for a Thief

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 10:02 pm

So, I have used two followers thus far in older playthroughs, Fendeal, and Lob. I just learned that you can give them "commands", such as "pick that up", or, "activate that", or "open that door", ect.

As a thief, I just learned that both of these characters have morals, and wont steal anything for me. Well, they can have thier morals, but they are going to live thier crappy NPC lives now, because they are done rollin with the dragonborn.

So, who will follow me that will stael items for me? I would assume the kajiet caravan guard will, but I havnt tried. Is thier anyone els? Im sure cisero/darck initiates will too, but thats a last resort, they are too creepy(especialy cisero, that crazy basterd will probly slit my throat while I sleep in breezehome :cold: ). Does any one know?

On a side note, why the hell cant some of the TG people in the flagon cistern follow me? They just sit around and be useless all day, kinda lazy on bethesdas part IMO.

Thanks if any one can help.

Have you tried the dark elf chick inside the drunken huntsman?

you hire her for 500 bucks, as a mercenary i'm sure she has neutral morals (i havent tried this myself but it seems like it be worth a try)

Rogues don't usually use companions but you might want to try the Dark Elven bird for hire at the Fletchers in Whiterun.

I was just thinking this. On my rogue I HATE companions. They are constantly causing me to get caught while sneaking etc... They just get in my way.

Yeah, i usualy dont, but I want to try it, give the game a more tactical feel. :disguise:

Ill have to think about the dark elf, dont realy want to pay for her all the time. I kinda wish bethesda kept the old waiting system for followers, instead of rseting them after so many days, then this wouldnt be a hard choice cause I wouldnt give a crap, Id probly just leave them in my house.

Since you cant though, if Im guna have one, I want a good one, and one who will fit my playstyle.

You only have to repay if you dismiss her and if you are a Dummer she wont charge again.

Heres a list of possibilities Ranger/rogue types.

Aela the huntress
Athis (companions)
Cicero
DB initiate
Derkeethus (rescued in Darkwater pass)(Argonian)
Faendal
Jenassa
