Hello there forum goers,

My girlfriend has been having an issue recently regarding her Skyrim not starting up. She does actually get to the load up screen (with the play button, options, data files etc) but when she hits play she gets this error.

She tells me that when she tries to redownload directx, the setup does not come with the required files to run Skyrim.

Can I get some help here?


ALSO, it isn't letting her update her directx.

Reinstall DirectX from the Redistributable package rather than the update service.
