I like it

This game looks great, has an intriguing story line, and looks like a decent game for me to waste time while I await the new ES game. Anyone else as excited about this as I am?

It seems very familiar to the 2004 PS2 game Demon Stone to me.

I don't really see how this game will bring anything new to the table, aside from better graphics of course.

I notice the review mentions "elf." I hope inXile is doing something interesting to keep the fantasy fresh, sort of like what Dragon Age Origins did (not copying or doing anything similar obviously, they should do their own thing, but just something dynamic and not cliche like bioware did)

Demon Stone was a pretty average game if you (judging by your Avatar) are a fan of the Bioware/Black Isle games such as Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale and Neverwinter Nights.

IMHO, there have been very few console gmaes that have even come close to the story, game play and player immersion of these games, which I think set the standard for RPG's.

That said.... Demon's Forge state's it's an adventure, not an out and out RPG. Still looks good though :)

More action than RPG. It does have RPG elements though.

I see in the particular article of IGN the characters have other names. In the article they have it about Katic and Allura, while i remember from somewhere earlier it was Caddoc and E'lara.
A mistake of IGN or are they renamed?

May i assume then it's a Hack&Slash? Something like Dungeon Siege perhaps or Diablo or Sacred?

I'd guess they heard the names spoken rather than seeing them in print.
