Water issues (again)

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 1:20 pm

Hi everyone,

I just realised that in my game, after I go under the water ANYWHERE, it's too cloudy to see anything. It never used to do this, but it has just recently. I have the ENB patch and that fixed my issue which was the other way around, where the water was TOO clear. And my graphics drivers and everything are up-to-date. I've tried looking over the internet for people possibly having this issue due to a patch, but couldn't find anything.

Any suggestions to help me remedy this? Thanks. :)

Its supposed to be cloudy. Visibility underwater is about 10 feet in Skyrim.

I noticed that with one of the patches, 1.4 or 1.5, the water became murkier. That, coupled with your mod, would make it too murky. Remove your mod. Yeah, I noticed the water seemed a bit too clear also a few months ago, particularly when I was only inches deep. It may have been an AMD (ATI) gfx only issue, do you have AMD gfx?

I disagree somewhat with that assessment, more like 25ft. Clearly to 5-10ft, but I can still make out fishes at least 25ft away.

No, I have an ATI graphics card. :) And ENB patches a lot of graphic glitches and I'm not sure I'd want to remove it for fear of tonnes of issues I might have. :P

Jake: ATI = AMD. AMD bought ATI years ago, where have you been? No matter, your call. You complained, I answered. GL.

I'm not extremely up-to-date on which companies own which, especially not in the hardware area. :P And I didn't complain, I came here asking for help and suggestions - but the only suggestion I've received is to uninstall a patch that fixes a few graphic glitches...
