just bought for PC yesterday

So I just traded in the PS3 copy for a PC copy of this game as I wanted to try a version where the modding community had found fixes for the problems in the game. Just finished installing this morning and I'm starting a new game.

First off the damned thing takes 5 min to load from the desktop. Then when I'm told to get out of the cart in Helgen I follow the gods damned thief who runs off. Somehow I end up stopping near the house on the right next to the barmaid or [censored] whatever she is about 15' past the dude with the clipboard and Legget Rikke.

Then comes the character building process: the character is animated as still walking during the building process so it's hard to tell exactly what I've changed in the way of small details like eye coloring and dirt removal.

Finally get thru this and I get told to follow Rikke, I do so straight over to the headsmand block. I do not stop to listen to General Tullius' speach I just walk right on over and get in the way of the first excecution. Due to where I stop walking it never happens and I just end up standing there for like 5 or 6 minuets. At which point I start over.

Now during the times when the character is walking I am not touching the mouse / keyboard. He just walks all over the place on his own.

Help. I'd really like to get some playing time in, instead of frustratingly replaying the first 15 min over n over again.

First, Skyrim only takes seconds for me to load from Desktop, your computer is too slow.
Second, if not remapped, "C" toggles auto-move. Never use it on a PC.

Just checking. Though, I would like to mention that your integrated GPU is really pushing it when it comes to being able to play the game.

For your movement issues, I'd check to make sure that you have no game controllers plugged in that you aren't using and check the INI files to make sure they aren't enabled (if not using a game controller like a gamepad or joystick).
