Character armor models

I'm hoping someone can answer this...

When you progress through the game, will you get new armor and weapons? And if you do will your avatar change to reflect the new upgrades? Or will it be the same model through the whole game? I am really really hoping you can get armor upgrades and stuff and change your looks based upon that.

I don't think we have confirmation of this, however if you watch the videos perhaps you can find them wearing different armor? Two of the pre-orders have special armor which suggests to me that you can find armor in-game and it changes your appearance - however this is speculation on my part and mods aren't privy to any information that hasn't been made public.

You'll get new weapons, shields and armor as you play through the game, and they will be reflected on either Caddoc or E'lara.

I asked this question at the Hunted developer presentation at the Eurogame Expo yesterday, since they didn't show off any weapon or armour changes, and they confirmed that it will be a big part of the game. Apparently there are around 40 different weapons in the game, and armour changes will alter the character's appearances rather than just their stats.

Also worth noting: This game looks really impressive. Until I saw it on the big screen yesterday I had my doubts about it. It is one of the most graphically impressive games I have ever seen, with a really heavy feel to the combat (just like Gears of War had, which is a great thing), and it wasn't just dungeon-crawling on show either. There was a really impressive vista outside an old ruin, with the promise of plenty more stunning outdoor locations throughout the game.
