Alteration Dual Casting?

Is it worth it? Does it make spells like ebonyflesh give more armor?

IIRC, it will only last longer, but your armor rating will be the same.

Depends on how long battles go and whether or not you want to be casting it mid-fight. I find it incredibly useful because I don't have to worry about constantly casting the spells over and over again, along with not having to worry about them suddenly wearing off in a long fight. But it's up to you.

It is useful. Having to constantly refresh Ebonyskin is one of the most annoying aspects of playing a pure Mage. Making the spell last for 3-4 minutes instead of 1 minute is crucial; besides, it's only 1 perk point.

you got a point there. and since my alteration is 100 there is no need to keep casting it to level it up

Yeah, if you have a 100 in Alteration, then there's no reason not to dual-cast it. If you have less than 100, then it might be good to have to keep refreshing. :)

its worth it for the extra duration cause the master spell will only last like 40 seconds othehrwise. only bumps up to like 100 seconds total. the armor rating is irrelevent wit that spell though because
Spoiler
it gives passive 80% reduction to physical damage taken
