I get the note from E and meet him secretly.

I then read note. guards are all around. they say nothing. I meet with E. then without talking to anyone, I go to the inn, figure out which room is margarets by snooping with no one detecting me.

I walk out and the guards say they have seen me snooping around and asking questions.

anyway, it was [censored]. they could at least wait until I talk to ONE person after starting the forsworn other than E.

They could have seen you walk into the hallway, too the room. Or, you can svck it up and ignore these teeny tiny details that irritate you people so much.
