Hi,

I've got some "Look Up Failed" all over my game right after having downloaded the latest beta patch. Any idea on how to fix this?
I have a french version of the game.

It looks like all localized versions of the game don't work with the beta patch. There's no real fix right now. I assume that this won't be a problem with the finished patch.

Correct. The beta update is only for the English version of the game. We'll let everyone know when it supports localized versions.

I agree, this is just a beta, but I don't remember they said it in their changelog

I ran the beta patch and I get to the title screen but the fog doesn't come up - I'm running a horse mod (better horses) - would that have something to do with it?

Gstaff, is it safe to play the beta with a non-English version? I play the French version, and the only issue i seem to encounter so far is that there is "LOOKUP FAILED!" written in my savegames previews, instead of my character race (just under the preview picture of the savegame).

Yes, it's safe. "LOOKUP FAILED!" errors won't break your game or savegames. The text is just missing in the string files.
You can fix that easily with the Skyrim String Localizer. Select Update.esm and Update.Strings and press 'Process'. You will get the message "Some String IDs not found in selected STRINGS file. Load from another file?". Choose yes and select Skyrim.Strings file. Now click on 'Write strings' and overwrite the Update.Strings files. Done! No more lookup failed errors.

Or you could change your Steam language to English and use that while the beta is out... your english seems good
It's the easier method, I'd say, but PlanB's is better.
