The dude you can't get to landed me in a whole world of pain as I tried firing arrows through the slit in his door which didn't kill him but made the guards up above relentlessly try to kill me!

they're trying to kill someone in the main quest from the blades, but if you haven't made it that far then they're just hills have eyes characters

I couldn't even get arrows through the slit. They kept getting stuck in the door. I figured I'd return later since he may be needed for a quest of some sort. But i laid waste to everyone else.

I found them once, i just left them alone as the guy behind the barred door, vocied by Max Von Sydow, was not interactable at the time. At least i know now what they are linked too.

I wasn't going to kill any of them excep that the cannibal guy attacked me and that made the rest of them go nutz so I kinda had to put them outa their misery.
