Quests and content in Skyrim

I'll be honest, I expected more from the questing aspect in Skyrim.
All in all I think the only good quests are:

- main quest
- daedric artifacts quests

Guild questlines are not too bad, but they're too short. There's no sense of accomplishment in becoming a guildmaster because it happens too soon.
Every guild has some "filler" quests (special jobs for the thieves guild, retrieve books for the mages, etc) but they feel empty. Oblivion quests were more "handcrafted" and less repetitive.
Besides, one can skip them altogether whereas doing some of those filler quests should have been the requirement to advance the ranks of guilds. Instead you can become guildmaster in a matter of a couple of quests.

Also, there's very few interesting quests which are not tied to either the main one or guilds questlines. I remember that in Oblivion there were more of those. It feels like a robot made all the extra quests for Skyrim (which is somewhat true because of the repetitive "radiant quests").

Dungeons on the other hand are much better, they're much less repetitive than Oblivion, and each one has some peculiarities to it. This is one of the best things in Skyrim.

The world is great, though those minor holds feel again like something they put in the game just at the last moment, the environment for "towns" like Morthal, Falkreath etc is all the same.

Vanilla mechanics are also much better than Oblivion, monster scaling and some perk trees need some tweaking but I guess modders will take care of that.

All in all, I think they should have worked on the game much more both because the content is not stellar, and because there's too many bugs. If I were to give a friend a suggestion, I'd tell them to wait for the Creation Kit to come out and possibly to get the game when it's on sale.
