So, I killed Paarthurnax for The Blades.

And now I'm unable to finish the main quest? Since 'The Fallen' quest is directing me to Paarthurnax's skeletal corpse on top of the Throat of the World, so evidently there's no way for me to learn the shout to call Odahviing, right?

Apparently you can get it from the Blades.

You should have spoken to him before you bumped him off.

Serves you right for killing him. :P

That's what you get for killing Parthuunax, you monster.

I keed, I keed. *I* couldn't bring myself to do it, but you're not playing MY game. You're playing yours. So, whatever.

That said, I don't THINK you need Parthuunax alive to learn the Ohdaviing shout. I don't specifically remember, though. I may be wrong, since I let the scaly bastard live, and told Delphine to go perform an impossible act of self-copulation.

Don't listen to them. You did a great job getting rid of that annoying evil dragon ;)

If I could only kill them all once and for all.. without flying on me almost every fast travel. :P

Blades for life!

What is better - to be born good, or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?

He has meditated for centuries and helped humans defeat Alduin not once, but twice. He has learned to help instead of dominate. The blades however are naive refuse to accept change. You're evil dude.

Well, that was sort of MY feeling. That killing Dragons just for being dragons, regardless of their actions, was almost sort of racist in a way. Certainly prejudicial.

I mean, hell...In the Blades' minds, the only good dragon is a dead dragon. But Parthuunax actually helped me save HUMANS...despite the fact that a significant number of them would sooner see him dead than accept his help saving the world. That gives him the moral high ground in my book.
