First off, I play on the 360. No console commands.

Anywho, it really bugs me how I just can't kill certain people. Specifically, the leaders of Stormcloak camps. As a supporter of the Empire (though I haven't officially joined the Legion yet), I slice my merry way through every Stormcloak camp I stumble across. Unfortunately, there's always one guy at the camp I can't kill. He'll be a named NPC and seems to hold some rank higher than that of the low-level grunts. It's hard to get the satisfaction that comes with genocide when there's always at least one worm still crawling around on the ground no matter what I do.

Question is this: will he ever become non-essential? If I join the Legion, will I ever be able to kill these guys? Same situation occurs in guilds, too.

I think the answer (for console gaming users) is probably no.
