Is the horizon supposed to look like this?

This is a view off of the northeast shore of Skyrim. Just to the right is Vvardenfell. It looks like this anywhere there is an ocean horizon.

The horizon looks really unatural to me, not to mention the big square island. I think it may have do to with mods I have but I'm not sure. I have the mod Enhance Distance Terrain installed, but I've tried starting the game without it and it still looks like this. It looks like I can see the edge of the actually map or something. I have 30 other mods installed, the only ones I can think of that would affect this is EDT, A quality World Map with Roads, and Remove 3D Map Restrictions. Help from anyone with knowledge of the ini file or knows what it takes to fix this, would be greatly appreciated. If you need more information or screenshots, let me know. Thanks.

Yeah it shouldn't look like that try to re-install without the mods to compare so you're sure it the mods who do it but make a back up save before.

(sry bad english)
imho i think its like this (its just an idea.. maybe... ):
that line is not the horizon, you actually do see the horizon. It's just above that inclined line...

the horizon can be intended the "skyline" of the mountains around you otherwise the game map must be an entire planet for real!! lol...
in skyrim im enough sure that the horizon is drawn in the skybox, you should see it even in a completely empty map

i think u messed up some fog fading distance and start/end point... so u are seeing what u should not normally see... your word is load an a shorter distance than your fog start fade

(u can try disable all mods and then renable one by one and see... or trying to reset the ini files to default in some way...)

I see the same thing as well. It looks pretty awful, especially the giant rectangular hole in the ocean. But those problems have been there as long as I can remember, so I don't think it's mod related.

That's exactly how the default game looks, square island included. Take it or leave it and yes, it's dreadful.

Yes that's how it looks, depending on what the weather settings are. It gets worse during sunrises and sunsets.
It looks really bad and if I were developing this I would be ashamed to release it.

The square island is a different issue than the horizon btw and something the weather settings don't affect.

This is what it looks like with all my mods unchecked except for Bethesda's HD texture pack. I feel like it looks way worse.
