Changing factions, possible? : V

I am currently on my first Stormcloak quest (The Jagged Crown) but have decided after 80+ hours that I would rather fight for the Imperials. I auto-failed Joining the Legion when I completed Joining the Stormcloaks, but is it really too late? I am not hated in Solitude, in fact I have homes in 3 Imperial cities...

Anyone know for sure?

if you bring the jagged crown to the opposition they will allow you to join them instead

Seriously? That would be nice. Funny I have had this quest in my journal for at least 60 hours of gameplay... been doing everything but the war questline.

yeah, the "jagged crown" quest is your only chance to change your mind. once you fetch the jagged crown there is no going back

There is no journal entry to bring Crown to Imperials. Do I just bring it to the Jarl in Solitude?

Castle dour, not the blue palace. Same city, different loction. Castle dour is somewhere near where the guards are training.

i joined the stormcloaks simply cause they were closer to me at the time and i handed the jaged crown to ulfric yet i still have the misc mission saying join the imperials why is that?

If you can join both do it. Complete the questlines until the very last seige for both sides.

lol that was my plan all along then i saw this thread saying i cant join both sides im going to try tonight my idea was to play both sides like i always did when playing fallout 3 and NV
