Crime's running rampant in Riften

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 6:21 pm

After finishing the Thieves Guild questline I've noticed a lot of thieves breaking into houses, being chased (sometimes killed) by guards and it brings me a deep sense of satisfaction to know that I'm responsible for that.

So much for the player actions not having an impact on the game world eh?

Riften in the lore was much worse 100 years ago then it was now.

Yeah Riften on my game is chock full of dead thieves. The guards seem to get all of then and the bodies are piling up lol

I'd really, really like a questline to clean the city up and get rid of the Blackbriars.

Agreed. For now I'm stuck with using the disable cheat until a mod comes out that does this.

If skyrim works as previous tittles, disabling is not enough, you need to disable what you want to delete and then type markfordelete on the same reference.

I've only just started the Thieves Guild and seems like every other time I go to Riften there's a thief trying to break into a house and the whole town is in an uproar until the guards drop him. It's funny when you search their bodies because they always have a bunch of useless things with very little value like candlesticks, goblets, platters and other basic home items.

Actually the loot you can get from the corpses is leveled to you. After leveling up to 40 or so and becoming TG, I've obtained gems and even a flawless diamond once. So it always pays to check

I'd even pay for a DLC with this!

I'd pay for a DLC involving a locked room with you and a non-essential Maven in ANY context. Cretinous old witch.
