Some annoyances with and questions about Enchanting

I was kinda excited about this skill in place of the limited enchanting alter in Oblivion, but honestly, its not really any different, just even more limited...

Annoyances-v

1. Potions are relatively useless, as I only have time to enchant and name a single item before it ends... Why? Because time still passes while you're enchanting, this is ridiculous, I don't know why in game time can't just be stopped while you enchant... This is really annoying when you're trying to find a good charge amount for your weapon and then it runs out....

2. It is extremely difficult to find items with the enchantments I need, I have given up on most of em after a few hours. The way I found a few of the others was saving before entering a shop and reloading continuously... Even that didn't really turn up anything. Not to mention the fact that you can't breakdown unique items to gain multiple effects. I understand in the case of overpowered effects (Gaulders amulet, mehrunes razor, etc) but I can't break down the Dagger of Dismay or Amulet of Arkay...?

3. Why do I have to keep selecting the same materials for mass enchanting over and over again? How about just make it default to the item we last used unless we exit the menu.

Questions-v

1. Where would I find an Absorb Magicka, Absorb Stamina, and Paralyze Enchantment (Static objects, not loot or by chance). What about Water Breathing enchantment?

2. I dual wield Daedric War Axes and I use a Bow for backup, what are the best enchantments for those? Right now I have one axe called Freezebane with 25 Frost Damage + 30 Magicka Damage, another axe called Soulsear with 25 Fire Damage + 10 Absorb Health, and a bow called Soulshock with 25 Shock Damage + 15 Damage Stamina. On a side note... Is there a way I can calculate this before having to waste potions then having to reload a save?

1. Use more pots if you run out of time. Yes, the interface is kinda clunky on account of being a port from console, I think somebody managed to enchant 7 items before running out of time, and that is the record so far. :) Time does pause at certain points in the enchant screen... naming the stuff pauses time, for example.

2. Your char level is what determines shopkeeper goods... if you are a higher level, you will have an easier time finding things in shops to disenchant.

3. I agree... that is annoying.

----

1. Absorb Magicka and Absorb Stamina can always be found during the Mage College questline, but it is pretty deep into the story arc before they show up. Water Breathing -- no idea, sorry.

2. IMO Magicka damage is not a very good enchant. Try putting fire and lightning on one axe, as it will increase damage of both (don't ask me why -- it just does), and very few enemies (Storm Atronachs) are immune to lightning. For the other one, put an Absorb Stamina 1 point on it and maybe a health absorb or Frost Enchant if you want -- you only need 1 point of stamina to do a power attack, and as long as you hit with that axe, you can do a power attack right afterwards. Comes in real handy. :)
